Lawn Edging and Trellis

April 2005

In order to improve the left hand wall of the garden and make it easier to mow the lawn without fouling the wall baskets, it was deemed to add trellis to the wall for climbing plants. Climbing plants require a border, so the best edge to the border was going to be a line of bricks, either moved out from the old position or new ones laid in. At the same time it was decided it would be easier to redo the lawn edging all round and try to even out some of the large unevennesss in the lawn on the right hand side.

These photos were taken late evening so may not be as well lit as possible. More to come later and will be taken earlier in the day.
