New Greenhouse and Grapes
Speculative Crop 2010
There is always one spot which is difficult to find something to grow (other than weeds), so after various attempts over the years, we came upon a cheap grape vine earlier in the year. This was successfully planted and over the summer cut back to stop taking over the neighbourhood. So late September we got our first crop of grapes, actually two bunches of very sweet grapes.
Preparing for winter 2010
10th October 2009, bought at Gardeners World Show in NEC, now being put into use for winter, an inflatable greenhouse for the top patio. Means it can be used for over wintering plants and early starting of seeds and plants for next year, then taken down next spring, to allow us to have the garden back again.
