Gallery of Caversham Snow 9th January 2010

9th January 2010 afternoon visit to allotment, to get vegetables. We can see what problems farmers are having. The snow seemed deeper over here, and difficult to find the crops.

Under some of this snow there are carrots, parsnips and leeks. Quite a lot of plants, like leeks were bending over under the weight of snow. Many had to be found by removing lots of snow first.
